Vinegar is a natural product, made from plant fermentation. The commonly available household vinegar is a mild solution containing about 5 to 10 percent acetic acid. The acidic content of this super-cleaner makes it effective at breaking down grease, molds, and bacteria which lurks in homes wrecking health-havocs.
Furthermore, the acidic property also makes it a mild antiseptic that inhibit the growth and proliferation of bacteria. It also dissolves mineral based deposits which are alkaline in composition.

The Homemade Aromatic Vinegar Spray in this article will make 8 ounces of mixed solution, to get the amount that will fit the size of your spray bottle, you will need to multiply the ingredient amounts as needed. This recipe will create a solution that uses an equal portion of water to vinegar i.e. ratio 1:1. This is the recommended ratio for most general cleaning projects, but for tougher cleaning jobs (such as tough excessive mildew and mold), the potency of the mix can be increased by increasing the ratio of vinegar to the water to 2:1, e.g. 2/3 cup vinegar to 1/3 cup water.

The addition of essential oils fortifies it with antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties, making it a multipurpose cleaner. Its high acidity levels make it ideal for loosening mineral deposits such as calcium, lime, and soap scum.

Tips for Using Homemade Aromatic Vinegar Spray

For tougher cleaning jobs, spray the affected area and allow it to sit for several minutes

For buildup of minerals around fixtures, stubborn mildew in the shower, allow this spray to sit in for few minutes and scrub with an old toothbrush or scrub brush. Rinse and pat dry.

For disinfecting jobs, such as countertops, allow the spray to sit in for a minimum of 60 seconds then rinse.

For scrubbing jobs, get some baking soda, sprinkle the baking soda on the surface to be scrubbed, use with aid of the vinegar mix, create a paste. Scrub away with a scrubbing brush or Eco-friendly brush. The build-up of mold, scum, odors, and dirt will disappear.

Warnings and Cautions
